Founded by a veteran music industry professional with over 40 years of experience in radio promotion, artist management, and broadcasting, Hot Wax Radio emerged from a deep-rooted passion for independent music that traces back to the early 1980s alternative scene. The station's commitment to showcasing emerging artists and providing an alternative to mainstream commercial radio has made it a vital resource for music discovery.

"For 16 years, we've been dedicated to the passion of art and music," said Patrick Rule, the station's founder and primary DJ.
